Turkey is experiencing serious economic problems, and inflation “melts” from day to another Turkish pound, compared to coins such as Euro and dollar. In contrast, many Romanians still choose to spend their vacation on the Turkish coast, even if that means making more money from their pocket compared to previous years. However, Romanians have an advantage: they are accustomed to increasing prices in Romania, and in Turkey, they say tourists, they are lower.
On a Facebook group intended for Romanian tourists who choose the holidays in Turkey, people have been surprised by the prices that, in some cases, doubled compared to last year. And yet, most believe that prices are lower than in Romania, which is why Turkey continues to choose.
Expensive in Turkey but cheaper than in us
In a post on this group, one of the Internet users posted the updated prices, in the form of a quick guide for tourists. Everything in Turkish pounds, with the mention that a pound is worth 0.11 lei.

Great differences in the supermarket
The posts started debates on Turkey prices, and the discussions then expanded to other posts on the same topic.

Plan water, cheaper in Turkish restaurants than in Romanian stores
