The legendary American actor Bill Murray, nominated for Oscar and famous for his unmistakable humor, was honored at the International Theater Festival in Sibiu (Fits), where he received a star on the celebrity alley.

The actor thanked the Sibiu and Romanians for the warm reception and joked, saying that he did not know “that people would walk” on his behalf.
“Mayor, Mr. President, citizens of Sibiu and Romania, to all those at home and friends, the word of the day is ‘thank you’. So, thank you. I was surprised by all this event. I didn’t know that people would walk on my behalf for the rest of my life. I would like to thank those who made my work possible: these are the professional actors from Chicago who helped me to train, including my mother, Brian and the actors I worked in New York and the extraordinary technicians I collaborated on on television and movies.‘, said Bill Murray.
He also stated on Saturday night, at the gala after after the stars on the alley of celebrities, that he is grateful to his parents and grandparents.
Bill Murray is the star of Sunday, the last day from Fits. He will go on stage at 7:00 pm, at the State Philharmonic in Sibiu, in the show “Lumi Noi”, along with cellist Jan Vogler and Friends Vanessa Perez & Mira Wang, one of the most anticipated events from Fits, being among the first balance OUT.
The International Theater Festival in Sibiu ends on Sunday evening, after providing 842 events to the public, bringing 5,000 artists from 82 countries to the city.
