After last year Alexia Șerban obtained the sixth highest note in Bucharest, 9.49, at the degree exam, this year he passed himself and took 9.82 to the final.

The young teacher entered the educational system a year ago, after completing the courses of a pedagogical high school in Craiova.

With the note from the degree he entered a renowned gymnasium school in Bucharest. Alexia Șerban has chosen education because she likes to work with children and aimed to help them, both professionally and personal.

“I am young and I know that I would help them a lot coming with modern methods compared to the traditional ones that we slowly try to change, because the generations that come from the latter are quite difficult to decipher, they come with many stories and I think a young teacher who is interested every time something new in education appears in education”, Said Alexia Șerban in the interview given Digi24.ro.

Alexia says she was lucky to work in a healthy environment, with very good colleagues, who received it well and helped her adapt.

In parallel with the hours held in the preparatory class, in her first year of education, Alexia Șerban also goes to college, being the first year to the Faculty of Letters of the University of Bucharest, but also to prepare for the final exam.

“The teachers, like the doctors, learn all their lives because we model ourselves according to the generation. Depending on the child many methods appear and we have to be aware of everything that means pedagogy. This is why I am so dedicated to this profession, and the preparation for the final exam was not a weight for me”, the young teacher also mentioned.

Regarding the final exam, Alexia Șerban mentioned that he is “frustrating” that you have to learn things that a teacher does not teach in class.

“For example, in literature we were asked to write an essay about the good luck of Ioan Slavici, but I do not get to teach this work in the fourth. Gymnasium ”, mentioned the teacher.

What advice does he have for future teachers?

The young woman advised graduates of faculty or pedagogical high schools who are preparing for exams – of title or final – to learn to manage her emotions. At the same time, they should prepare in advance.

“You have to love this job, because students see us, teachers, examples and we have to be aware that we are examples for these rather young children. There are some ages they are for and we have to help them in a harmonious environment. If you have a bad day, you can not go.are the advice of Alexia Șerban.
