An unusual incident took place on Tuesday, July 29, inside the Court of Salvation of the Nation in the Capital. The police were alerted after a man caused a scandal in the church yard and refused to leave the area, despite the intervention of the guards.

According to sources “Adevărul”, the person concerned would be none other than Cheloo, on his real name Cătălin Ștefan Ion, one of the most famous rappers in Romania, a founding member of the Parasitii band. The artist is known for his provocative style, nonconformist attitude and harsh lyrics, but also for the discretion with which he manages his personal life.

Witnesses claim that the man parked his car in the cathedral yard, then left the scene. Returning later, he would have become recalcitrant and refused to cooperate with others. The police officers arrived at the scene identified him and, according to the procedures, tested him with the Druger and Drugtest devices.

The preliminary results indicated a possible presence of the banned substances in the body: the anti -drug test came out positive, while the alcohol was negative. In this situation, Cheloo was led to the National Institute of Legal Medicine (INML), where biological evidence was collected, following the laboratory analyzes to determine exactly whether or not he consumed drugs.
