Claudiu Sandu told the observer that, when a magistrate is told that he has to retire only at 65, “Collapses”.

“This man, who for 25 years or almost 25 years has supported all the deprivations, all the prohibitions, motivated at night, motivated files on the weekend, went on the field, on the frost, in the rain, took out corpses from the wells, you tell him that he has to stay for about 15 years until 65 years old, he can not go,”said Claudiu Sandu.

Neither the idea that the pension is maximum 70% of the net salary is not embraced by the CSM vice -president. Claudiu Sandu considering that it must be equal to the last salary or very close to this level (around 4,000 euros), according to the quoted source.

“The question is how much does the citizen think that such a man would deserve as a pension? Is it worth a pension close to the salary he had, 15-16,000 lei or as any worker from an industrial hall? You are not a robot. You come home with extremely emotions, extremely many and most of them are negative“, added the CSM Vice -President.

We recall that a similar position was also advanced by the head of the SCM.

In full conflict between the Government and the magistrates regarding the increase of the retirement age and the reduction of the special pensions, the head of the SCM, Elena Costache, claimed that a pension of 11,000 lei is small for a judge and that the integrity is of money.

The Superior Council of Magistracy subsequently accused that the interview of the president of the institution was presented truncated and removed from the context, distorting the meaning of the statements.
