Nicolae Cristescu, the target of the ironies

Others liked it to fantastic characters:
“The legend of Gigi Macho, the man who does not go, but scrolls, and when he enters the room the mirrors are abused by emotion”, someone else wrote.
There were also jokes related to the businessman’s outfit, including the price label hanging by his coat and his sunglasses:
“What do I like those with sunglasses inside! But it was probably too strong the light of the gorgeous chandelier”, notes another user.
The photo reminded some of the film “The Secret of Bachus”, and others compared him with characters played by the actors Stefan Mihăilescu-Brăila and George Dinică or with the Romică Țociu star.
“To put in the Kitsch Museum!”someone concludes. Instead, another Romanian offered a more sober description.
“The representative image of a CAP landed in the abundance of capitalism. Unfortunately, for this country there are too many like him”, he says.
Market Scandal 16 February
Nicolae Cristescu, former Financier of Rapid and charged in a DIICOT file for cam and blackmail, is accused of illegally administered, for almost a year, the market of February 16 in Sector 1, Bucharest, after the expiration of the contract with the City Hall.
Although the agreement was concluded in August 2024, Cristescu refused to surrender the space of 1,500 square meters and blocked the attempts of the takeover authorities, stating that he “has everyone in hand”. “I was a loyal and good faith partner of the City Hall, the City Hall made a profit”, Cristescu said, according to Snoop.
The market, occupied for almost two decades by Cristescu’s company, has been used by over 200 traders, many held for 13 years in a tent without authorization. The mayors who succeeded themselves promised the modernization, but the situation was legally blocked, the current mayor, George Tuță, declaring that he only recently received the mandate to terminate the contract and to demolish the unauthorized constructions. Between 2009 and 2024, the City Hall received about 6 million lei from the concession, but the revenues decreased after 2016. Cristescu argues that he was “a loyal partner” of the administration, while the DIICOT prosecutors are investigating him in an involvement and blackmail network, along with members of the interlock world.
