He stated that in order to avoid high taxes in Romania, he withdrew the money in installments of maximum 10,000 lei. The virtual games allow such “jugglers” that leave the state budget with their mouths. “The very big earnings do not extract them from the account once, as a sum, because I would pay high tax. I remove 10,000 lei each, this being the maximum limit for a tax of only 3% (no – now, the tax is 4%). For example, in Romania, if you earn 250,000 euros at Loto 6/49, then 40% remain of the state, you have no other variant“, Gherghe revealed, in a few months. From August 1, the state has easily increased the taxation, by a percentage, but has kept, unhappy for the public finances, the respective thresholds.
