“Important announcement for all those who live in the block! If your block has an association that gets revenues from renting, advertisements or services, I have good news for you: I have initiated and submitted a legislative project that allows the association to use this money and for the expenses related to the common spaces”, the Liberal deputy Andrei Baciu transmitted. According to News.ro.

Currently, the law allows the use of these revenues only for repair works, which leads to financial blockages, even if there is money in the accounts of the associations.

At each block is the same scenario: the neighbors put money in common for maintenance, for light on the scale, for cleaning, and sometimes debts are gathered, sometimes discussions appear: ‘Why don’t we pay for the money that the association has?’, explains Baciu.

The legislative initiative proposes that the general meeting of the block freely decide how to use money, to cover both repairs and current expenses.

“The problem is that the current law does not allow: the income obtained from rents, advertisements or services can only be used for repairs. This is how financial blockages appear, even if there is money in the account. What do we propose by this bill? We initiated a draft law that changes the rule. We propose that the general meeting of the block will decide freely how to use this money: for repairs, but for repairs, but for repairs, emphasizes the liberal deputy.
