Florin Piersic sent an emotional and self-deprecating message to his fans, one day before his 90th birthday. The actor appeared in a video posted on Facebook, filmed on the stage of the National Theater in Bucharest, where he talked about the age he has reached, his love for the public and the anniversary meeting that awaits him.
In his unmistakable style, Florin Piersic chose to address the audience right from the empty stage of the National Theater in Bucharest, the place where he experienced some of the most important moments of his career.
“My beloved viewers, I am on the stage where I have played tens, hundreds, thousands, thousands of shows… at the National Theater in Bucharest. Today I am with you with an empty hall, which I don’t like, but it will be full when I want it to be: on January 26, when I will turn the tender age of… I don’t even know how many years”.
The actor continued, amused even by his own age: “Oh!!! 90, 90 and I feel like laughing, because I can’t believe it’s my birthday on January 26thI will actually turn 27, but 26… please, you understand what I want to tell you“.

“Don’t Forget Me Too Soon”
At the end of the message, Florin Piersic sent a request to the fans in his warm and playful style, not to forget him.
“Darlings, that’s all I want to let you know: that you will see me at this gala, those who won’t see me will look on the Internet. Don’t forget me too quickly, however, think that we have a meeting, a meeting as I like to say… about love. With whom? With many and with Florin Caisă. Uhh, Piersic”.
A gala with many famous names
“Anniversary Gala – Florin Piersic 90″ takes place on Monday, at the National Theater in Bucharest, and is presented by Marius Florea Vizante. Among others, Claudiu Bleonț, Medeea Marinescu and George Ivașcu will take the stage. Angela Similea, the artist with whom Florin Piersic had, in the past, a love relationship, will also be present.
The event is a touching tribute to an actor who, at almost 90 years old, continues to speak about the audience and the stage with the same love and the same charm that consecrated him.
