The University of Cluj won the Ardeal derby, 2-1 with CFR Cluj, on Monday evening, in the last match of the first stage of the play-off in the Football Super League.
Lorenzo Biliboc opened the scoring in the 1st minute (59th second), being the fastest goal of the season, but Bosnia’s Jovo Lukic equalized in the 4th minute. In the last minute of the game, the Frenchman Oucasse Mendy brought victory for the hosts.
The “red caps” collected 30 points, moving up to second place, tied with Craiova University and one point behind the leader Rapid. Instead, CFR Cluj remained 27 points, being in 5th place. Dinamo is in last place, with 26 points.
The Camorra remains in Gruia
Romanian international Mario Camora (39 years old) has extended his contract with Transylvania for another season, the announcement being made before the game.

Dramatic victory for FC Botoșani in the play-out
FC Botoșani dramatically defeated Unirea Slobozia with a score of 3-2 (1-2), on Monday evening, at home, in a match from the first stage of the play-out phase of the football Super League.
Unirea opened the scoring through Ukrainian striker Denis Ianakov (12), in his second game in the Super League, after a mistake by Enriko Papa.
The hosts equalized through Andrei Miron (31), but immediately Ialomi took the lead again, through an own goal by Ukrainian striker Mikola Kovtaliuk (35). The dark evening for Kovtaliuk continued, he was eliminated by the referee Marcel Bîrsan for elbowing the Peruvian Renato Espinoza, sanction dictated after the video referee (38).
The end was incredible, with a miss in the min. 83 of Andrei Dragu, alone with the goalkeeper Giannis Anestis, and two goals of the hosts.
