Several former soccer greats, including France’s Zinedine Zidane and Italy’s Marco Materazzi, have been mentioned by New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and American rapper and chef Action Bronson.
The politician, elected mayor last November, is a great football fan. He was a guest on the latest episode of the show “FTD”, which the artist makes on YouTube.

The two ate together at a Yemeni restaurant in Brooklyn, talking about everything. Bronson compared himself to Zidane for “elegance and grace”, so Mamdani joked to the camera: “Materazzi, don’t come to this restaurant“!
The incident between the Italian and the French in the 2006 World Cup final is known. After allegedly insulting the French during the final, Materazzi received a headbutt from Zidane.
