The Abruzzo mansion of Gabriela Cristea and Tavi Clonda, uninhabited for 50 years, is undergoing renovation. The project provides 7 rooms, terraces, swimming pool and event area, and the value of the house, after it will be completed, is estimated at over 1.5 million euros.
The mansion of Gabriela Cristea in Italy, from Abruzzo, has been an uninhabited house for 50 years, and it represents, over time, a real treasure for the star and her husband, the artist Tavi Clonda.
Soon the two will be able to start the renovations, and when it is ready, the mansion with 7 rooms, terrace, swimming pool and event area, specially designed by Gabriela Cristea, will be valued, according to the architects with whom the star is now collaborating, at over one and a half million euros.
“Things don’t happen overnight. There are some deadlines that we also have to respect. And there you are not allowed to start anything until you have all the permits. Because if you come and take down a brick and say, “don’t let this be seen”, they come and give you a stinging fine. And we have to demolish part of the house. We also had the possibility to reconsolidate it, but we spoke with the architects and the cost differences are not that great”said Gabriela Cristea for Click!.ro.
Regarding when she plans to return to Italy, she said: “We are going to go to Italy, to the house, somewhere on June 30, because right in front of our mansion there is a wine festival, it is the time when the wine is drawn from the barrel. It just so happens that our neighbor, right across from us, is one of the most significant producers of wine and olive oil in the area, and then in front of our house, he even asked for our permission if he could also use our part of the sidewalk, as it were, make this festival where it’s like any other festival. Food, drink, music, fun.”
“We have already discussed with the builders and I know what they have to do. The builder is a Romanian who has been living in Italy for 20 years and who has a construction company and also works with other Romanians, which I think is super cool”added the former presenter.
Gabriela Cristea then testified that, when the entire renovation is completed, the architects believe that the house will be valued at over one and a half million euros.
“Now we are working on this thing because we are also conditioned by the square meters that we can build, and theoretically we will make seven rooms that will be at the five-star level, with very large terraces, all with bathrooms, like a 5-star hotel, plus a very, very large living room with its own kitchen, plus a very large terrace, also in their style, so that you can put long tables, as they do. It will have a swimming pool and an area, downstairs, where now it is agricultural land, which will turn into a very large garden where we will hold events”the star also said.
