David Popovici: “I’m on schedule for this period of the year”
David Popovici made a short statement to TVR Sport, the station that broadcast the race, declaring himself satisfied:
“It’s a super OK time. I’m on the chart for this time of year. I know exactly what I want. I have hopes that I can do even better when I compete against those who do it normally. The 200 meters record seems to me the most difficult. I think it will be a while before he is brought down. Thank you for following me and I’m glad that swimming is getting more and more popular“.
