“I’ve never thought about whether I’m a rich man. I’m a man who can have comfort. Someone else asked if I’m a consumer of luxury. No, I’m not a consumer of luxury, I’m a consumer of comfort. Then I allow myself to do certain things that give me superior comfort. Now let’s compare us today with the emperors of Austria-Hungary in the 1800s. Of course they were much richer than us. I sold agriculture three years ago. I sold it at a good time to sell, because now the prices are not the same. I operate as an investment fund. I enter a certain field, I invest there and after a while I exit. Usually after a long time. I mean I don’t go in and out after a year.
I leave after 10 years, 15 years, 20 years. Maybe I’ll be out of energy in two or three years, that means I’ve already had energy for 20 years. But I don’t get stuck in a business.
