A traffic harassment on Calea Victoriei, in the center of the Capital, turned into a violent incident, after a conflict between two drivers degenerated. During the altercation, a female passenger was struck and suffered injuries that required medical attention.
According to the information from the investigation, the incident took place at the end of May, around 11 p.m., in the Calea Victoriei area of Bucharest. It all started in traffic, when a driver started honking the car in front of him. There was a group of people nearby, including some men who were drinking alcoholic beverages, who interpreted the gesture as directed against them, according to the protv news.
Following the tensions created, one of the men threw the contents of the glass on the open window of the car in traffic.
The situation quickly escalated, and both the driver and the passenger got out of the car, at which point the verbal conflict turned into a physical altercation.
During the fight, one of the men tried to hit the driver, but he dodged, and the blow hit the woman next to him in the face.
According to the quoted source, as a result of the impact, she suffered a fracture of the nasal pyramid and needed about 14 days of medical care. The aggressor is under criminal investigation for beatings and other violence and is under judicial supervision.
