Two months before the elections, the polls show Nicușor Dan as the winner at the Capital City Hall, announces a survey commissioned by Digi24.
Nicușor Dan, Cătălin Cîrstoriu and Popescu Piedone
An ATLAS INTELLIGENCE survey measured Cătălin Cîrstoiu, Cristian Popescu Piedone, Nicușor Dan and Mihai Enache, the candidates registered for Bucharest City Hall, Digi24 announces.
Nicușor Dan was chosen by 37.1% of Bucharest residents, Cristian Popescu Piedone by 30%, Cătălin Cîrstoiu by 17.4%, and Mihai Enache by only 4.9%.
Among the surprising figures collected by AtlasIntel is the division of the political vote between the candidates for the City Hall.
For example, the PUSL candidate, Cristian Popescu Piedone, obtained the most votes from the PNL electorate, while the doctor Cătălin Cîrstoiu from the PSD electorate. Nicușor Dan receives the votes of the USR electorate, but also an important percentage from PNL voters.
Also, depending on the level of education, Cristian Popescu Piedone gets over 60% of the votes from those who have only primary education, while Nicușor Dan gets almost 45% of the votes from those with higher education.
As for the list for the Bucharest City Council, in the scenario where all Bucharest citizens with the right to vote are taken into account, the PSD-PNL Alliance would win the elections with 36%, according to the AtlasIntel survey. In second place is the United Right with 29.5% of the votes, and AUR would get 8.4%.
