The Romanian national team placed fourth, Thursday, in the qualifications of the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Rimini (Italy), while Sabrina Maneca Voinea took fourth place in the individual compound, writes AGERPRES.

Romania (Sabrina Maneca Voinea, Ana Maria Bărbosu, Lilia Cosman, Amalia Ghigoartă) obtained a total of 158.798 points, being surpassed by Italy, 165.296 points, Great Britain, 161.430 points, and France, 159.130 points.
The team final is to take place on Sunday.
In the individual composite, the gold medal was won by the Italian Manila Esposito, with 55.432 points, the silver went to her compatriot Alice D'Amato, with 54.831 points, while the bronze was obtained by the British Alice Kinsella, with 53.599 points. Sabrina Maneca Voinea took fourth place, with 52,700 points. It should be mentioned that in fact the representatives of Italy had the first three totals, Angela Andreoli (53.766) not being taken into account.
The Romanians managed four qualifications in the finals: Ana Maria Bărbosu qualified in the jumps with the fourth average, 13.633 points, after 13.666 in the first jump and 13.600 in the second; Sabrina Maneca Voinea took the beam final with the second score (14.100) and the floor with the highest score (13.700), and Lilia Cosman qualified for the beam final with the sixth score (13.266).
Sabrina Maneca Voinea achieved the 13th position in vaults (12.983) and 80th in parallel bars (11.300).
Ana Maria Bărbosu 33rd position on parallel bars (12.933), 32nd on beam (12.633) and 24th on floor (12.500).
Lilia Cosman finished 18th on parallel bars (13.100) and 21st on floor (12.600).
Amalia Ghigoartă was 27th on parallel bars (13.000), 29th on beam (12.700) and 16th on floor (12.733).
Maria Ceplinschi did not participate in the qualifications, being taken care of by the trainers due to ankle pain.
