Calhanoglu called in Romania after spending the title won with Inter on his hands. “Made Cercel a millionaire”

Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu was the soul of the party for Inter Milan after the Lombards won the title in Italy. He performed with the song “Made in Romania” by Ionuț Cercel, which was sung for several minutes by all his teammates.

The Inter Milan star spoke to the FCSB coach – the pair congratulated each other on winning the national titles – and also discussed the song which has taken the world by storm after being promoted by the Italian champions' players. In 2012, Hakan Calhanoglu and Elias Charalambous were colleagues in Germany at Karlsruher and remained on good terms. Like the players from Inter, those from FCSB also listened to the same song that became viral at the title party.

“Yes, we talked, I called him, then he called me. You know the relationship I have with him, he spends every day. He made a Romanian song famous. (no – Did you send him that song?) No. I was surprised, to be honest. I joked with Hakan about the song and told him that it made him (no – the performer) famous and it will make him a millionaire.

We didn't talk much, we just joked about the song, I saw the rest of the players also followed his example and sang. It was very nice, I was a little surprised, but I also saw our players after the game that they sang the same song. It's a trendy song. I saw a kid singing this song,” said Elias Charalambous at orangesport.ro.

Like FCSB, Inter mathematically became champions with several stages before the end of the season. After the game won with AC Milan, the Nerazzurri celebrated the title on the pitch, in front of the fans, but also in the dressing room, singing and dancing to the song “Made in Romania”, performed by Ionuţ Cercel.
