CFR Cluj won the match with Rapid Bucharest with a score of 3-2 (2-1), on Sunday evening, at home, in a match from the 8th stage of the Super League play-off, writes AGERPRES.

Rapid opened the scoring, through Kosovar Ermal Krasniqi (16), but CFR then scored three times in a row in its first match in the current mandate of coach Dan Petrescu. Daniel Bîrligea (20) equalized from Philip Otele's cross, and then the Nigerian scored a double (30, 56).
Rapid narrowed the difference with Borisav Burmaz's goal (60), but missed the chance to leave Gruia with a point, after Kosovar Albion Rrahmani wasted a penalty (72), his shot being saved by goalkeeper Răzvan Sava.
The penalty kick was awarded by the referee Marian Barbu, after watching the video replays, for a foul committed by the Slovenian Matija Boben.
CFR ticked off its third consecutive victory and occupies the second place in the ranking.
Rapid is the only team without a win in the play-off, a phase in which it obtained only one point.
In the direct matches, Rapid prevailed 3-1 at home and 1-0 away, and CFR won the two play-offs, 4-1 in Bucharest and 3-2 in Gruia.
