Gloria Buzău mathematically advanced to the Romanian Super League, after defeating Unirea Slobozia with a score of 3-0 (0-0), on Tuesday evening, at home, in the 9th, penultimate stage of the play-off phase of the II League.

The team coached by Andrei Prepelita prevailed with the goals scored by Daniel Benzar (67, 90+2) and Alexandru Dandea (71). Gloria also missed a penalty, through Cristian Dumitru (24), the ball hitting the crossbar.
So, Buzăul will once again have a football team on the first stage of the country after 15 years. The last time Gloria played in League I, as the competition was called in the 2008-2009 season, it was also relegated from last place.

Gloria Buzău joins Uniria Slobozia in the elite echelon, the only unknowns in the play-off of the second league being the positions occupied at the end by the teams that will support the playoffs for the Superliga, CS Mioveni and AFK Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc.
