Sebastian Burduja resumed the invitation to the debate for Nicușor Dan, during a short meeting at an official event, but the proposal remained unanswered.
Nicușor Dan and Sebastian Burduja, both candidates for the Capital City Hall, met at the Parliament, where they participated in the European Congress of Horticulture.
The two met at the entrance to the hall where the event was held, when the PNL candidate relaunched his proposal to hold a debate together.

“When we have that debate too, let's not lose our temper“, said Burduja to Dan, alluding to another candidate for the seat of mayor of the Capital, Gabriela Firea.
Nicusor Dan laughed, but did not answer the question.
Sebastian Burduja, PNL candidate for the Capital City Hall, condemned on Wednesday, May 8, the refusal to dialogue of his independent counter-candidate supported by the United Right Alliance.
The general mayor of the Capital avoids having a dialogue with the PNL counter-candidate for the Capital City Hall. Nicușor Dan, stated in an interview with Digi24 that he does not want a debate with Sebastian Burduja, because he wants an alliance with PNL in the General Council, in case he wins a new mandate.
“I don't want to have a debate with Sebastian Burduja, because in a debate things are said. Someone attacks you, you have to answer him (…) “I wouldn't want to attack him. I want a PNL majority in the Council, if I win the City Hall”, said Nicușor Dan.
