“I congratulate Andrej Plenkovic on his third term as Prime Minister of Croatia. He looks forward to further strengthening bilateral cooperation together, as well as our collaboration within the EU and NATO”, wrote Marcel Ciolacu, on Sunday on the X network, formerly Twitter.
The Croatian parliament on Friday approved a new government dominated by the conservative pro-European HDZ party, led by Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who won a third term as head of the Executive following parliamentary elections.
Croatia has a new coalition government that also includes a far-right formation, euronews reports, noting that in the parliamentary elections in mid-April, the prime minister's party did not get enough votes to form the government independently.
