Although the role of the Romanian Crown is not to rule on political issues, its mission was always to protect and promote our national interests, says MS Margareta, in a message posted on Facebook on Monday.
“The phenomenon of which we have witnessed during the recent electoral process in Romania is not unique. In recent years, the elections in many countries have been dominated by heated disputes regarding the respect of the procedures, doubts about the truthfulness of the results and significant opinion changes among the electorate, which has been removed from the consecrated political parties, as well as a votes. It is not an exception, on the contrary, it reflects a common situation among contemporary democracies ”, transmits the custodian of the crown.
His Majesty Margareta says that the development of Romania is one “Quick”, but “Unbalanced”:
“All countries whose savings grow rapidly generate inequalities. We need to make bigger investments in social services and develop specific policies of social and economic inclusion. Indeed, our economic development is a rapid, but unbalanced. from the European Union ”.
“Never in our modern history Romania has enjoyed a higher level of security”
The relationship with the Romanian diaspora needs another approach, according to the Custodian of the Crown:
“It is our duty to approach these inequalities and do it immediately. And at the same time, we must approach the relationship with the Romanian diaspora in a different, more efficient, deeper and more constant way. They need to feel part of the Romanian life every day, not just before the elections, when we ask them to vote. Modern Romania has not enjoyed a higher level of security and better conditions for economic prosperity than nowadays, as a member of the European Union and NATO ”.
Voters, “ignored and neglected by our current political system”
Our country remains strong, but the choices that have just ended must be seen as “A cry full of despair ”says His Majesty Margareta:
“Although our institutions have been and will be questioned, they continue to work. Our economy remains attractive to investori. Our country remains faithful to its alliances. Romanians now enjoy the Schengen agreements. And our bonds over the Prut remain true and solid.
Finally, I hope that our public authorities will see the present elections as they are, in fact: a cry full of despair, arising from the heart of the voters, who feel ignored and neglected by our current political system. “
“Real political solutions, not coalition games”
The custodian of the crown also says that the Romanian electorate needs real political solutions.
“We need to rethink the way our institutions work. We need to offer the Romanian electorate real political solutions, not coalition games. And we have to combat the growing cynicism among our young people, on the honesty and efficiency of the government. My family will continue to be the historical mission to be in Romania, It is also shown in the message of His Majesty Margareta.
