The students of the eighth grade who want to attend a high school with a vocational profile support the aptitude tests between May 19-23, 2025. These are essential for admission to artistic, theological, military, pedagogical, sports and Waldorf high schools. The registration for these tests takes place between May 14 and 16, and the results will be displayed on May 26.

Who supports aptitude tests?

The tests are mandatory for students who choose high schools with vocational specialties, as follows:

  • Artistic profile: music, plastic arts, architecture, choreography
  • Sports profile
  • Theological profile: Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Greek-Catholic, Reformed, Baptist, etc.
  • Pedagogical profile: teacher-educator
  • Military profile
  • Waldorf high schools

What do the samples contain?

Each profile has its own structure of samples, established by methodology. For example:

  • In the artistic profile, students can support practical and theoretical tests according to the chosen specialization (for example, drawing, instrumental music, vocal interpretation).
  • At the sports profile, the motor skills and the physical condition are evaluated.
  • At the theological profile, a written test is held in religion and an interview.
  • For the pedagogical, there are communication, empathy and didactic aptitudes.
  • At Waldorf, the evaluation follows the compatibility with the principles of alternative pedagogy.

Exact details about the content and the way of unfolding can be found in the methodology of organizing and conducting the aptitude tests published by the Ministry of Education.
