A student from Târgoviște who got 5.30 in Romanian, at the National Assessment, received 9.30 after appeal

Dissatisfied with the grade obtained in the Romanian language and literature exam from the National Assessment 2024, a student from Târgoviște, Dâmbovița county, filed an appeal and was graded 9.30, after initially having a grade of 5.30.

The student’s grade thus increased by four points. The student average of the “Matei Basarab” Secondary School in Târgoviște is currently 9.40, after it was initially 7.40, according to Edupedu.ro.

A similar case is that of a student from the “Duiliu Zamfirescu” Secondary School in Focşani, who, following the appeal, obtained a grade of 9.75 in the Mathematics test of the 2024 National Assessment. Initially, the student’s work was graded with 3.50.

The student in question had received a 9.55 in Romanian language and literature, so his overall average is now 9.65, which allows him to enter a top high school.

We remind you that the final results of the 2024 National Assessment exam were made public on Tuesday, July 9, on the website of the Ministry of Education. More than 27,000 appeals were filed in Romanian Language, Mathematics and Mother Tongue, according to data from the Ministry of Education.
