Alcaraz crushes Djokovic at Wimbledon: fantastic performance by the 21-year-old Spaniard

World No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz won his second consecutive Wimbledon title on Sunday, claiming his fourth Grand Slam trophy, after defeating Serbian No. 2 Novak Djokovic in a replay of last year’s final, with 6-2, 6-2, 7-6 (7/4), informs AFP.

At 21 years old, Alcaraz has already won the US Open 2022, Wimbledon 2023 and Roland-Garros 2024.

For his part, Djokovic (37 years old) was aiming for his eighth title at Wimbledon (in ten finals), with which he would have equaled the record of the Swiss Roger Federer. Djokovic has 24 Grand Slam titles in his record.
