“Legal assistance becomes free for victims of the following crimes: recruitment of minors for sexual purposes, child pornography, sexual harassment, torture, slavery, subjection to forced or compulsory labor. They will receive financial compensation for material damages, moral damages and will have more time to ask for it. The term was increased from one year to 3 years”says Alina Gorghiu.

The Minister of Justice shows that he rallied to the initiative of PNL deputy Cristi Băcanu, writes news.ro.

“Today it was voted by the Senate. I hope it will pass the Chamber of Deputies as quickly as possible, especially since in the first 6 months of the year we have almost 1,200 active files regarding the trafficking of persons and minors. It is, therefore, a more than necessary law”says Gorghiu.
