In the Qatar Football Cup, Al Arabi, a team trained by Cosmin Contra (50 years old), defeated Al Sadd 5-0 (4-0), a team coached by Roberto Mancini (61 years old), former Italian coach, with whom he won the EURO 2020 title.

After this result, Al Arabi is in 3rd place with 19 points. Al Sadd is last, with 5 points. Also today, Al Gharafa, without Florinel Coman (27 years old), injured in the 2-1 draw in the championship with Al Arabi, lost away, score 2-3, to SC Qatar.

The Qatar Cup is contested in a joint group system, composed of 20 teams.
