Andi Moisescu spoke frankly about the offers received from competing stations and about the reasons why he chose to remain loyal to the television with which he has been collaborating for almost three decades.
“I think the fit between me and Pro TV helped me the most from that point of view, because this is where I felt like I could do my best all the time and where my vision meshed perfectly with the vision of the station. In short, that was an extremely important ingredient that always kept the balance from tipping the other way, even though there were offers coming in over time. Back when, of course, that was what the fuss was about, it seemed like people were transferring from one television to another like football players from one team to another, yes.
I caught those times, I also had offers, I always weighed in some years that I had already spent in Pro TV and some very important professional relationships that assured me that here things will always go in the direction I want too. And on the other side was some unknown person”Andi Moisescu said in an exclusive interview for cancan.ro.
Even though some offers seemed impossible to refuse from a material point of view, the presenter revealed that money was never the main criterion for him.
“For me, the financial motivation has never been so strong as to make me deviate from my path”the juror said “Romanians have talent”.
He also talked about the close ties he has with his colleagues at Pro TV, friends that have been formed since the days of Pro FM.
“After all these years, you realize. Well, some of them were before television, because in the beginning we had this chance: we were put together on the radio. When we were in Pro FM, everyone who started in Pro TV, on sports news, on news, came at the beginning, and a year before Pro TV started, we were working together on radio. And radio is a very nice environment in which to make very beautiful and lasting friendships.”the TV presenter also said.
