Andreea Marin published on Tuesday, July 7, images from her vacation on the Island of Capri in Italy. The star was photographed in a bathing suit, on board a boat, on the waters around the island.
Capri is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the Sorrento Peninsula, in the southern Gulf of Naples. Since the time of the Romanian Republic, the island has been a holiday destination, being famous for its spectacular landscapes, historical sites and tourism.
Capri is known for its limestone cliffs, Faraglioni rock formations, coastal caves – including the famous Blue Grotto –, high cliffs and sights such as Marina Grande and Marina Piccola harbours, the Tragara viewpoint and the ruins of Roman villas, including Villa Jovis.
The photos published by the TV star immediately attracted the attention of admirers. Even though she returned to the office, the presenter says that her thoughts remained in the place she considers “home”.
“In case you’re wondering, I’d like to, but I’m no longer at sea, but with my nose in my papers and my eyes on my laptop in my office. But the memories of last week still give me a positive energy, so I send the pictures on to you.
Capri, the place on earth of the soul for me, an island as if torn from heaven where I arrived for the first time 18 years ago. I go to this land every year – I’ve seen so much in the world, but nowhere do I come back feeling like home! And it still surprises me, I’ve discovered precious places, unseen yet!
The extraordinary nature, the climate, the good food, the elegance, the dance evenings and the old music, on my soul, the architecture, the art, the culture expressed in so many ways, the respect for tradition and values, the beautiful and optimistic people, the time for myself, for books, exercise and for healthy sleep – which at home I can’t find, I admit – all embraced make the perfect holiday“.
