Robin Van Persie’s Feyenoord succumbed and PSV Eindhoven celebrated their 27th Dutch title with five games remaining, the fastest in history: 71 points to their rivals’ 54.
Peter Bosz’s men, a team with an average age of 25.3 years, lead the table with 23 wins (from 29 matches) and only 4 defeats. They have the best attack so far with 82 goals (2.8 per game), but not the best defense, conceding 40 goals (Twente has 31 and Ajax – 37).
The king of the scorers is given by the rival Feyenoord (the Japanese Ueda, with 22 goals). PSV’s top scorer is 25-year-old Moroccan midfielder Saibari (rated at €30m) with 14 goals and 8 assists, followed by Guus Til with 13 goals.
