“At the parties with Ştaif the world gives 1,000 euros each”
Mihai Traistariu, one of the most requested artists especially at marriage parties, which a fixed fee of 1,500 euros for a recital, says that the wedding gift depends on the event. If this is a modest one, a family does not give more than 1,500 lei, but the most demanding can be reached for 1,000 euros of family.
“I know that the wedding gift is 500 lei, by the person, and if a couple comes, it gives 1,000 lei, somehow up to 1,500 lei. It is at modest weddings. But, if there are stake parties, the world also gives 1,000 euros, family, especially when they are the relatives of the bride.
I was also invited, to about 50 weddings, to stay at the table, but I was always busy, I did not reach, to offer too. There are also weddings with 50, but also with 500 guests. It depends on how you manage to convince your friends to come to the party ”, joked the artist.

The popular music soloist Elena Merișoreanu confesses that she misses the weddings of old, from the country, where people brought to the new brides who had at hand, “a duck, a scarf, a pajamas.” Now, in some such events, if you are poor, you better stay home, says the artist.
“I was, a month and a half ago, at an event, at a good place, there was a lot, the guests were trampled on. In general, when you go to the wedding, you give the double menu, because the brides have their expenses, with the outfits, with music, with rent.
Usually, godfather and relatives give more. Previously, at the country’s weddings, the weddings offered a duck, a scarf, a pajamas. Now there are gifts of thousands of euros, at the trick parties. If you are poor, you better stay home. After all, the religious marriage is important ”, said Elena Merișoreanu, specifying that her 1,000 euro tariff per event is established by her businessman “I have a businessman, he sets the fee, he also takes his part.”
