Independent candidate Daniel Funeriu stated, during a television occurrence, that he would like “A slam” With the gold leader, George Simion, his counter -candidate in the Romanian Presidency.

The statement was made in the show “La Măruță”, where Funeriu was asked if he would give “A slave slap” some counter -candidates, in the context of a hypothetical promise that filming the moment would be “Damaged with the help of the blue pixel.” The question referred to the 2009 scandal, when former President Traian Basescu was accused of hitting a child, and Funeriu supported at that time, by calculations, that the registration was false.
Asked if they would resort to such a gesture in the case of candidates such as Crin Antonescu, Nicușor Dan, George Simion, Elena Lasconi or Victor Ponta, Funeriu replied that he is not the kind of violent person.

However, Funeriu added that he would accept a friendly physical confrontation with George Simion.
