The Physics subjects in this second session of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam were accessible, with an average level of difficulty. “No items that intentionally put students in difficulty. The subjects were clearly stated, without ambiguities or things that leave room for interpretation”, stated for the Truth teacher Gabriela Alexandru.
Physics subjects, not difficult but novel
Some students may have found them slightly more difficult than the summer ones, but not because they were difficult tasks or heavy calculations. Instead, there were some more original items, the teacher says. “That is, for example, a grid in mechanics that asked the children to specify the meaning of acceleration or speed, during movement, in a gravitational field”.
And in thermodynamics there were such grids with not difficult questions, but which were not like what was given in the past years, which do not appear very often in compilations or other preparation materials.
In mechanics, the same. “For example, in subject three it was an extremely simple situation: a slide on a horizontal plane, it wasn’t even inclined or anything, I mean it wasn’t hard stuff, it’s just possible that some of the students perceived it as slightly more more difficult than those in the summer. And that’s because they expected, perhaps, the classic inclined plane or the vertical throw”.
Easy calculations. “You didn’t even have to put pen to paper”
As for the calculations, they were also very easy to do. “There were no situations in which you messed up the calculations. Most of them could be done without putting pen to paper. Many times in past years there have been TOPICS with difficult calculations or where confusion could easily be made. Now there was no such thing.” said the teacher.
In conclusion, the only thing that can be said about physics subjects is that “could have put some in difficulty with this unique element. It is very easy to get a grade of ten or pass. No one tried to sabotage the childrenProf. Gabriela Alexandru also specified.
