On Monday, June 17, high school graduates take the competency tests of the national Baccalaureate exam, session 2024.The Baccalaureate exam begins with skills tests. Candidates are assigned to rooms in alphabetical order. Lists are communicated 24 hours before the first test. In the test for the assessment of language skills, the allocation to the rooms is done in alphabetical order, depending on the language in which the candidates take the test. The evaluation of the linguistic competences for the Romanian language, the mother tongue and the modern language, as well as the digital ones, is done, for each candidate, by two examining teachers, one of whom is the teacher who taught the respective discipline in class, and the other is another teaching staff, of the same specialty, from the educational unit“, the Minister of Education said in a post on social networks.

The result obtained by each candidate in the test to evaluate the linguistic skills of oral communication in Romanian, respectively in the mother tongue, is not expressed by marks or by an accepted/rejected qualification, but by establishing the level of competence corresponding to the grid approved at the national level”Ligia Deca also wrote.
