33,676 students registered for this autumn’s matriculation exam session, but only 28,016 candidates said “present”. In addition, according to the Ministry of Education, 48 grade 12 graduates were expelled for fraud or attempted fraud.
We remind you that those who have been eliminated for fraud or attempted fraud can no longer participate in the next two sessions.
According to the initial results, the ones before the resolution of appeals, 8,206 students passed the exam, the cumulative pass rate (all promotions) being 29.3%.
The pass rate for the current year’s promotion is 31.2%, i.e. 5,855 candidates, respectively 25.4% for the previous promotions, i.e. 2,351 students.
The Baccalaureate exam is considered passed by those who took all the written tests and were marked with at least 5 in each of them. The required final grade point average is at least 6.
The overall average at Baccalaureate 2024 is calculated as the arithmetic average of the grades received in all tests. It is an arithmetic mean to two decimal places and without rounding, which is the overall average of the candidate.
