The Cluj team is in a period of major transformations. Iuliu Mureșan took over the position of president, replacing Cristi Balaj, and Andrea Mandorlini was removed from the technical bench.
The manager Giovanni Becali spoke about Petrescu’s current state of health, saying that he has recovered and would be ready to return to football. Thus, it is not excluded that the technician will soon return to CFR Cluj, the team with which he experienced numerous successes throughout his career.
