Last year, women dominated the major categories at the Grammy Awards. In the Album of the Year category, along with “Cowboy Carter” is the new age, alt-jazz album “New Blue Sun” by André 3000 and “Djesse Vol. 4” by multi-instrumentalist Jacob Collier. Rising pop stars Carpenter and Roan round out the set, with “Short n’ Sweet” and “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess,” as well as Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department,” “Hit Me Hard and Soft” Eilish and Charli XCX’s “BRAT”.

Taylor Swift last year broke the record for the most wins in the album of the year category. This year, she becomes the first woman in history with seven nominations in this category.

In the Song of the Year category, Beyoncé is joined by Eilish with “Birds of a Feather”, Swift and Post Malone with “Fortnight”, “Good Luck, Babe!” by Roan, “Please Please Please” by Carpenter, “Not Like Us” by Lamar, “Die With A Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars and “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey.

The Grammy Awards will air this year on February 2, live on CBS and Paramount+, from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
