In the first half, Brazil played excellent football, with fast passes and dominant possession. The movements that led to the two goals were emblematic: Paulo Henrique’s first in the 26th minute (a gorgeous pass of Guimaraes), then Martinelli in the 32nd minute (a pass of Paquetà).
Japan’s return came between minutes 52 and 71, in a second half in which Brazil completely disconnected.
