As the Spanish Public Ministry announced on Wednesday, the Prosecutor's Office accuses the Italian coach of two crimes against the Public Treasury, which he allegedly defrauded with 386,361 euros in 2014 and 675,718 euros in 2015, by omitting to declare the income related to the exploitation of his image rights , which he transferred to other entities.

In its statement, the Prosecutor's Office emphasizes that “to avoid taxation of the income from the respective image rights“, both those received from Real Madrid and from other brands for various events, the coach turned to a “complex” network and “confused” by companies filed to channel the collection of image rights.

Carlo Ancelotti (64 years old) began his second term at Real Madrid in June 2021, the team he previously coached between 2013 and 2015. He won the Champions League twice with the group from the Santiago Bernabeu, in 2014 and 2022. The Italian technician extended his contract with the Spanish club this winter until June 2026.
