“The Court of Accounts validated today the final report on the activity of the Permanent Electoral Authority. It’s official: Toni Greblă illegally received income of 24,000 euros in 2023, according to the Court of Accounts report. The document confirms Snoop’s revelations regarding the illegal wages received by Toni Greblă. I can’t wait to hear Ciolacu’s double standard about this case”wrote Clotilde Armand, on Thursday, on Facebook.
The mayor of Sector 1 declared that every day with Toni Greblă as head of AEP is “an attack on democracy“. Clotilde Armand recalled that on August 26 she submitted a complaint to the National Integrity Agency to verify the amounts collected by the president of AEP.
“Toni Greblă signed an illegal order by which he increased his salary by 50%, we are talking about thousands of euros/month, write the journalists from Snoop.ro. Toni Greblă, the official who must oversee the fairness of the elections from November – December 2024, calmly admits that he signed the illegal order and that he is returning the money“, said Armand on August 26.
The President of the Permanent Electoral Authority, Toni Greblă, declared, on August 28, regarding the subject of the increase “unlawfully” of his salary from AEP, that he notified the Court of Accounts after he was “informed” that the president’s allowance would have been established, “misinterpreting the law”, at a higher amount and entered “legality” from the moment he signed a payment commitment for the restitution of certain sums of money.
