After an exceptional handball career, Cristina Neagu will hang her boots at the end of this season. The athlete will have a withdrawal match, scheduled on June 8, in the Multipurpose Hall in Bucharest, but it will not be organized by the Federation, the best four -line handball player refusing the collaboration with this forum.

At the festive match will be present on the field, along with Cristina Neagu, his former colleagues from the national team, with whom he obtained bronze medals at EC 2010 and at the CM 2015. The match will be broadcast by Pro TV and on the Voyo paid platform, and the organization of the event will cost about 100,000 euros, according to gsp.ro. Three quarters of this amount could have been covered by one of the federation sponsors, but Cristina refused to associate with FRH, on the grounds that she was not helped when she needed.
