The sentence of the Ploiești Court of Appeal that suspended and even annulled the CCR decision of December, by which the entire electoral process of the presidential elections from the end of last year was invalidated, cannot stop the current election and cannot require the resumption of tour II. Judge Vasile Alexandru from the Ploiești Court of Appeal accepted an appeal regarding the suspension of the decision taken on December 6, 2024 by the Constitutional Court (CCR) to cancel the presidential elections. The appeal is part of a series of requests filed by citizens, as a result of an internet organized campaign.
