The Minister of Defense, Ionuţ Mărieanu, announced on Thursday, October 2, that he named Colonel Eduard Danilof at the management of the CSA Steaua club.

“CSA Steaua needs a new breath. I empowered it today at the management of the club Eduard Danilof – an officer with almost 30 years of experience, a veteran in international missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, but also with a solid management experience in the administration of the Steaua Stadium”announced Ionuț Măriță on his Facebook page.
He added: “For the next 6 months, the objectives are clear: reorganization, reform, results. Colonel Danilof will have all my support and the ministry team to modernize the club and to perform it. We will start a control on all departments and sports sections and professionalize how the CSA works”.
According to the Minister of Defense, there are two objectives: removing the club from stagnation and modernizing management, as well as transforming the football section into a success story, through a “Sustainable model, respecting the law and attracting investors”.
“The star cannot live only from memories. The club must be rebuilt with much professionalism”the minister said.
