David Popovici, multiple world champion, has been on the ramp in the last few days, undoubtedly attracting attention on the streets of Bucharest.
Aged 21, the young man recreates himself in his free time in the simplest ways, spending time with his family or going for walks in the city by car. He has posted, countless times, behind the wheel of the cars he owns, on social networks.
The price of such a car can reach over 400,000 euros
His newest automotive acquisition has a starting price of €200,000 to €400,000 with various options included. Popovici took his passion for cars further and equipped his garage with a new piece of luxury: a Mercedes, the first G-Class convertible in two decades.
Car experts say that this Mercedes G-Class Cabriolet is an extremely powerful and luxurious car. It has a large 4L engine that develops 577 horsepower and can easily adapt both on the road and in difficult terrain.
The car is also appreciated for comfort. It has plenty of interior space, room for five people and luxury features. Because of its large and robust appearance, many call it the “luxury tank”.
But the price is huge
The simple variant costs between 200,000 and 225,000 euros. With more options and equipment, the amount can reach almost 300,000 euros. And modified models by companies such as Brabus or Mansory can even exceed 400,000 euros.
In 2025, David Popovici also purchased a Porsche 718 Spyder, whose price is close to 150,000 euros.
