The USR delegates elected, on Saturday, June 29, in Bucharest, the composition of the National Bureau. Almost 200 candidates applied for the 24 seats in the National Office. And none of the camps managed to get a majority, the division being a balanced one.

In the internal competition for the National Office of the party, eight teams and several independent candidates entered: respectively Reconstruction Team (30), supported by Elena Lasconi, USR Balance Team (28) – leader Dominic Fritz, USR Unit (29) – leader Ionuț Moșteanu, Youth Team for Romania (25), USR Grassroots Team (26), USR Disabilities Team (10), ILFOV IMPLICAT Team (27), Independent Candidates Team (17), plus six other independent candidates.
The Reconstruction team, supported by the new president of USR, Elena Lasconi, includes, among others, the mayor of Bacău, Lucian Stanciu-Viziteu, the mayor of Sector 2, Radu Nicolae Mihaiu, and deputies Claudiu Năsui and Cristina Prună;
And the USR Ebilibru team includes, among others, the mayor of Timișoara, Dominic Fritz, MEP Vlad Voiculescu, Dominic Fritz, the mayor of Sector 1, Clotilde Armand and the mayor of Brașov, Allen Coliban.
Elena Lasconi, the new president of USR and the party’s candidate in the presidential elections, did not obtain the majority in the USR National Bureau. The team supported by Elena Lasconi will have eight members in the National Office, that is one third. The team supported by Dominic Fritz will have seven members, while the team of Ionuț Moșteanu – six members.
