CFR Cluj is preparing for an important change in the management area. Ioan Varga decided not to be directly involved in the management of the club, leaving the executive responsibilities in the hands of a businessman from Switzerland.
The financier of Transylvania does not withdraw completely, however. Varga stated that he will remain with the team and continue to provide the necessary financial support, but no longer wants to manage the day-to-day activities.

The one who would take control of the club is Hendrik Klein, an entrepreneur from Zurich, known for his previous involvement with FC Locarno, a club that evolves in the lower echelons of Swiss football.
“A new president will come to my position, he is from Switzerland, I understood that he arrived yesterday and will enter the bread. Hendrik Klein is his name, the management is changing. I want to take a step back, see my family and let him take care of it. From today it will be, from today! I help them with the money as before, but let them take care of themselves, I take care of my work and my business, don’t let everything break in my head. He is a man who was a shareholder in Basel, he is a serious man who knows how to play. It is part of those with which there were discussions in the past, now they have materialized. Klein and Samuel Grigo tried to get a role in the management of Locarno in 2025, but were not included in the new administrative team. Dissatisfied with the way the changes were made, the two went to court, but their actions were dismissed.
The following year, the two returned with another request. Klein and Grigo demanded the recovery of an amount of approximately 100,000 Swiss francs, which is around 106,000 euros.
