As the representatives of the National University of Science and Technique Politehnica Bucharest – Pitești University Center, Călin Georgescu, have said two requests for self -sausage and without payment starting last fall, reasoning that he is very busy with the presidential elections.
In January 2025, he was self-savory, taking leave without payment until February 2025.

“Mr. Georgescu has been self-help until the end of this academic year, taking leave without payment. He did not hand over this academic year, I had a discussion before October 10, 2024 and then he made the first request for free leave, he told me that he was busy with the presidential elections. When he made the request for self -suffering, in January 2025, he motivated that he must deal with the campaign for the presidential elections and that he has no time to surrender. Legal has the right to one year of leave without payment ”Professor Sorin Fianu said for “Adevărul”.
In December 2025, Politehnica Bucharest, through the Commission of University Ethics, began to verify the employment file and the way in which Călin Georgescu came to teach as a university lecturer at the National University of Science and Technique Polytechnic – Pitești University Center.
“As far as I know, the Ethics Commission did not find irregularities in Călin Georgescu’s employment file”says Professor Sorin Fianu.
“Adevărul” officially requested the National University of Science and Technique Polytechnic Bucharest to specify the conclusions after verifying the employment file of Călin Georgescu at Pitești University Center, but did not receive a response until the time of writing this article.
