The only goal of the game was scored by Alexandru Băluţă (16). The leader had two more great opportunities, but David Miculescu (26) and Luis Phelipe (79) missed alone with goalkeeper Roland Niczuly. FCSB reached seven consecutive rounds without defeat, five wins and two draws.
Sepsi OSK suffered their third consecutive defeat in the Superliga.
