FCSB won a victory at the limit, score 1-0, on the National Arena, in front of Craiova University, in the 12th stage of Superliga. The only goal of the match was scored by Florin Tanase in the 39th minute, from a penalty that decided the fate of the confrontation.
Although the team obtained three precious points, the atmosphere in the stands brought problems to the club. The authorities announced that FCSB was sanctioned with a fine of 55,000 lei (about 11,000 euros), while the club security company received an additional sanction of 3,500 lei.
The main reason for the sanctions is the behavior of some supporters present at the match, who violated several legal norms, including traffic and consumption of prohibited substances. Following the controls, two people were detected with drugs inside the stadium.
FCSB, drastic fine
“Following the violation of the legal provisions in force, the gendarmes prepared two documents for notification of the criminal prosecution bodies, in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 143 of 2000 on the prevention and combating of drug trafficking and consumption, with subsequent modifications and completions, and of art. 253 of the Criminal Code of Romania. At the same time, the gendarmes applied 10 contraventional sanctions, totaling 59,650 lei.
We emphasize that, of these, two contraventional sanctions, totaling 55,000 lei, were applied to the organizer of the sports event, and a contraventional sanction, worth 3,500 lei, was applied to the specialized security and protection company, for the non -observance of the obligations to be held.
At the same time, 3 complementary sanctions were applied regarding the prohibition of access to sports competitions over a period of 6 months. Next, checks are made to identify and sanction other persons who have violated the legal framework in force“, the Gendarmerie said, through a press release.
